It’s my (almost!) mother-in-law’s birthday and she loves chocolate and red wine so what do I make for her? Red wine chocolate cake of course! I came across this recipe in the same way I seem to come across most of them these days – by browsing various baking blogs.
I was looking forward to making this very much as I don’t really bake with alcohol at all and I was curious to see whether or not the wine would bake out, as it does in stews etc… or whether it would keep that rich wine-y taste.
